Hello there Ruber friends! We have an excellent homecoming gig this Saturday November 5th at Chesterfield’s one and only touring venue Battery, supporting Adam Ficek’s new outfit RKC! Adam found fame playing guitar and writing songs for Pete Doherty’s legendary Babyshambles project, and we’re honoured and excited to have his band come play our humble little town. Tickets are £6 adv, available from us. They are of limited availability so get them soon to avoid disappointment.
Our next gig is tomorrow night at The Friary in Derby, so come on down if you want a midweek Ska pick-me-up.

Hi friends, a happy Monday morning to you all.
First off I wanna say thanks to everyone who came down to the opening of Battery in Chesterfield on Saturday night. We had a great gig, The Shindys, The Natterjacks and Dead Sons all put in solid performances, and it was great to see so many people turn up to a dedicated venue in Chesterfield. There will be many more nights in the near future, check out the website for all the details!
We have a big gig on Friday 21st October to launch our new Culture Flies E.P at The Leadmill in Sheffield. We’re being supported by Stripey Jack and our Chesterfield pals L.O.V.E . Tickets are available now through the bands, get in touch ASAP if you need.

We have 2 big local gigs coming up next month, the first is at the opening night of The Battery, a brand new venue in Chesterfield with gigs put on by our friends Who cares Music (Site under construction) on October 8th. We’ll be sharing the stage with Sheffield boys Dead Sons and brand new Chesterfield band The Shindys. Tickets are £4 adv or £6 on the door, they’ll be available soon through Seetickets and Wegottickets, get yours quick to avoid disappointment.
The Battery is going to be a dedicated live music venue, a place for local and touring acts to come and tear it up in Chesterfield. There will also be clubnights and guest DJ’s, so look out for listings and upcoming events on the Facebook page, exciting times!
We’re also playing The Leadmill in Sheffield on the 21st of October, as the first date of our More Beef For The Bounce Back UK tour (You can stream the E.P for free on our Soundcloud.) We’re being supported by our Chesterfield buddies L.O.V.E so it should prove to be a stormer! Tickets available now through us, or the other bands.

And it’s been a blast!
We gigged SOYO tonight as part of the Counterfeit Magazine launch. SOYO is one of my favourite bars in Sheffield, it’s always good fun playing there. Thanks to everyone who turned up!
Thanks to The Selecter who let us support them on Friday. They are ska legends, and it was a privilege to share the stage with them. They’ve got a new album out called Made In Britain, check it out.
Big thanks also to Neil and all at the Ska Barn Blitz for treating us nicely (Best rider ever!) and letting us in on an awesome party on Saturday night, we played at midnight to a bunch of weird and wonderful folks on a farm, there were bubbles everywhere and bands ’til 6am, certainly a gig I won’t be forgetting in a hurry.
We’re not gigging for a week or so, gonna go back to the lab and write some new tunes in preparation for our UK tour In October/November. Full list of dates to be posted up here soon, watch this space, etc.

Next gig – Proud gallerias (Camden) 3pm Sat! x
Hi everyone, we’re proud to announce that our good friends at Raw Brewery are making us our very own ale! Once it’s brewed and ready for drinking we’ll be supplying it in a number of real ale pubs in Chesterfield, Sheffield, Derby, Manchester and Leicester. The full list of pubs will be available soon.
We’ll be launching the ale at a big bank holiday gig at the All Inn in Staveley on Sunday the 28th of this month. Get on down to see some great bands while drinking some quality real ales.
Look out for Ruberlaris Pale Ale in the next few weeks and support local independent music, proceeds will fund our October/November tour and the rest goes straight back to the brewery. Support the band and get drunk at the same time, surely a win-win situation!

Good evening, friends!
Our new site is pretty swish, huh? We’ll be posting regular updates here from now. It’ll be the usual: Gig dates, release details, photos, shout-outs, etc.
We’re running through a short quiet period while we prepare to release and tour our new E.P later in the year, but rest assured we’ll be back with a bang before too long.
We have so many things planned for Ruberlaris in the coming months and to be honest I’m bursting to spill it all right now, but that’d be spoiling the fun! We’ll update this page as and when things develop.
This site is hooked up to our Soundcloud, so check back here from time to time to see if we’ve put up some demos or other bits on the sly. We’ve got our new E.P up there right now, which you can stream for free as much as you like.
